2twentytwo came to life when we decided that we'd rather be on stage, playing, at bike rallies rather than in the audience.

We decided on the name when we gave an impromptu perfomance at a party. Some clever sh*te (Davie Heron) threw down a hat and a hail of coins (all small denomination) followed. The total?.....£2.22. Great story ?? but all true.

 The Band

Andy "the bairn" Reah. The youngest member of the  band joined us november 2006 following the depature of our previous drummer. A typical radgie drummer, who seems to be becoming more eccentric by the day.

Nippa "the Heed" Brodie - lead vocals - founder Member  - so nicknamed due to the fact his heed retracts into his body when he rides a bike. Don't go drinking with this man - he may have spuggies legs but they're hollow!

Colin "you've got a string out" Harding - bass - all the other nicknames I could give him would, undoubtedly offend him, so i'll let him choose his own

Ian "out of tune again" Dickinson - rhythm guitar and occasional backing vocals - founder member - unable to spot when his guitar has gone out of tune.

Although not a musical member, Kev Taylor deserves a special mention. He is to us, what Bez is/was to the Happy Mondays. He's been to nearly every gig and expresses his feel for the music in his own inimitable style, thru the medium of drunken dance.
